Chinese New Year Of The Rabbit Playdough Mat Activity For EYFS
These Chinese New Year themed playdough mats are the perfect activity for celebrating the ‘Year of the Rabbit’ with pre-schoolers, EYFS, and homeschoolers with young children.
There are two options in the pack, full colour and print friendly.
Work on those all important fine motor skills by squishing, squashing and rolling the playdough into six different shapes.
When is Chinese New Year:
Chinese New Year 2023 falls on January 22nd and this year it is the ‘Year of the Rabbit’.

My Spring Break Snapshot Writing Activity
My Spring Break Snapshot : Is a set of two fun and engaging writing activities that will encourage students to reflect on their Spring Break experiences.
The best part? it requires no prep. Simply print out as many copies as needed and give to your students.
The first activity sheet is designed to get students thinking about their favorite moments from their Spring Break. It is styled like a pin board/journal and features prompts such as " List 5 things you did that made you feel happy", “Rate and review any books, tv shows or films you watched” and " I loved spending my time doing…"
The second activity sheet is a ‘My Spring Break’ writing frame that will allow students the space to write in more detail about their adventures or memories from spring break.
Both of the ‘My Spring Break Snapshot’ sheets is designed in a print friendly black and white and decorated with doodles. This means that students can color and decorate their activity sheet as they think and create a piece that is unique to them. It’s a great way to encourage creativity and personalization, while also providing a fun and engaging way for students to reflect on their Spring Break experiences.

Chinese Year of the Rabbit Symbol Tracing Sheet and Calligraphy Style Paper Template
Chinese New Year 2023 is the year of the rabbit and these templates would work great as an additional resource / activity for a Chinese New Year themed lesson aimed at preschoolers, kindergarten or any setting with younger children.
I have designed the following resources in the style of Chinese calligraphy and there are two printing options: Full Colour and B/W
How these can be used?
Children can practice their pencil control by tracing the Chinese symbol for ‘rabbit’ and then colouring it in.
Children could have a go at painting the symbol onto the blank calligraphy paper using a big paintbrush and poster paint.

The younger girls got to practice their colouring and cutting skills.

Roll and color St. Patricks Day dice game
Little learners in pre-k or kindergarten can celebrate St. Patricks Day whilst practicing their counting and number recognition skills with this simple and fun Roll and Color math dice game.
Included in the pack is two Dice Templates to choose from, so every child can have a dice. I recommend printing or sticking the dice template onto cardstock to make it more durable.
These games can be played solo and are perfect for a quiet time activity.
